Studied law at Mannheim University.

During the practical part of his studies he worked in the construction law department of a large firm of lawyers in Mannheim (Rittershaus, Wissmann & von Rosenstiel).

After his final exams he was a salaried lawyer in a Mannheim law firm that specialised exclusively in construction and architect related law (Dr. Schulze-Hagen & Partner). In this connection he was solely responsible for large construction firms in the Rhein-Neckar region.

Since 2002 legal counsel with an international construction company (Heberger Bau AG) with operative units throughout the whole federal territory of Germany and branches or subsidiaries in Germany, Romania, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Spain, the United Arab Emirates and other countries.

Since 2004 he has also worked on an independent basis within the firm of bjw lawyers.
